To test the speed of a local connection on Linux, you need to install the iperf3 application:

• In the terminal, enter: sudo apt-get install iperf3
• Then we execute the command: iiperf3 -p 8082 -c iperf.briz.ua -P 4
• The last values (with the note [SUM]) are the test result.
